The ride has accompanied him through some of his biggest milestones in life, holding precious memories of dating, marriage, matrimonial house and his first born. Such a task for us to capture the mood as much as possible

Carburetor models of the Ducati Monsters are classified as endangered species, especially here in Singapore. Calvin is one such passionate individual who is clinging on to this classic 2002 Ducati Monster 400 in flawlessly spray-painted British racing green.

His story is a heartstring-tugger and we shall leave you with his original transcript here. “Some 20 years ago, young and stupidity nearly got me killed in a terrible riding accident. Battered with broken bones, bruises, multiple ops and lifelong scars. I never thought I’ll pick up a bike again. Here I am decades later, having gone through life experiences and having respect for life, I’m back on 2 wheels. On it, I realised what I have missed. The freedom – from stress, worry, sweating the small stuff. My kind of therapy with absolutely no regrets.”

This 3-Seconds Club super light Italian bull was the new top model in the Gallardo lineup when she was first launched in 2010 – also the lightest back then in the Lamborghini’s range. Carbon-fiber components peppered the interior for weight saving measure. The owner of this particular unit has given it a fresh coat of satin black paint and it’s oozing tons of street presence.

Another first for us – the first Infiniti we have ever shot. This is the Q50, a 2.0L turbocharged luxury sedan churning over 200bhp and a staggering 350Nm of torque. F1 driver Sebastian Vettel (formally at Infiniti Redbull Racing) was said to have test driven the Q50 at Infiniti’s test track in Japan and gave inputs to tweak both her suspension and steering settings.

The new Z4 is an entirely different beast, and the one we had from Performance Motors seats at the top of the range. Some numbers to get a sense of the power: Straight 6 engine, 340bhp, 4.5s 0-100km/h. And yes, this is the one that shares the engine, suspension, basic platform parts and some electronics with the new Toyota Supra.

A comprehensive shoot for this 2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 S superbike. This is only our third motorbike shoot done in as many years and we are loving how the photos turned out. The day started out with an overcast sky and the rain clouds eventually caught up with us… but it didn’t rain on our parade, how apt. “We made lemonade out of lemons” as quoted by the owner.
