At some point of time as the family grows and demands an easier and more spacious car, one couldn’t help but look to the SUV segment where it checks most of the boxes. We shot for Shawn and Justina more than two years ago and now they are back with a super adorable son, Skyler – Driven in a sporty Subaru Forester, along with their long-time love, the Evo 9.

One of the grandest private car shoot-meets we have co-hosted with our partner-in-crime, Carousell Motors along with other major sponsors, was concluded over a weekend in November, and what a journey it has been, with almost five months of lead planning time for the massive Singapore Honda Vezel / HR-V Club.
Undoubtedly the most recognisable crossovers on our sunny island, 100 car owners participated in this ambitious formation at the Singapore F1 pit straight. A separate drive-in photobooth overlooking Gardens by the Bay’s duo domes was assembled to capture each and every uniquely customised ride as they enter the invite-only premise, donned by three amazing and professional racequeens – Abby, Chrissa and Vanessa who smiled tirelessly for every photo.
The very efficient planning team of club #SHVHC made our job a breeze. We managed to shoot in record time, 1-minute per car at the photobooth that includes 3 different angles – quarter front & back and owner’s posed shot with racequeens. A feat that will become our benchmark for future meets of this scale.

Here is the shoot summary.
Our first European client, Latvia-based to be precise, saw an automotive concept technology lab for autonomous driving (www.pilotlab.co/). The company is built by enthusiasts passionate about the automotive industry with an intention to decrease 1.2 million traffic deaths every year. We are elated to be part of this industry revolution by being engaged to shoot a series of stock media images for Pilotlab.co. The prototype used is a popular hybrid vehicle, a second generation Toyota Prius.

It is like a prenuptial shoot all over again. And for the second time in their couple life, their mistress and manstress are also on the set. (Their first was shot at Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Talk about hardcore petrolheads!)
Presenting Shawn and Justina, who literally drove into each other’s lives. He drives the regular-looking white Mitsubishi sedan on steroids – a 2 litre turbocharged Evolution 9 GSR to be exact, while she takes the 300bhp black 135i bimmer coupe. We set off against a beautiful sunrise for some mandatory lovey dovey shots, followed by documenting a small touge skirmish between the passionate husband-and-wife team. Pure fun, and it was all good at the end.
